Enough ink has been spilled in quarreling over this topic as its human being's deepest experience throughout his life and that debate won't reach an end as long as the humanity is obliged to perform its greatest task ever, which is thinking.
When the early first human being was created OR resulted from any naturally selected evolutionary process, he discovered his only two unique qualities, which distinguished him over the rest of the creatures surrounding him.
These qualities were the heart and mind in other words; the knowledge and the sensation, but this uniqueness is not absolute, it happened that inferior creatures have had the same qualities but on a narrower scale which may be described as (LESS DYNAMIC).
Every inferior creature has what so called (SOLID KNOWLEDGE) in other words (INSTINCT). Which is a fixed knowledge and it is applicable from day one having the same vocabulary. Let's take the ANT for example, it is created with the same knowledge of how to build colonies, how to arrange societies and organize tasks from day one, and nothing will change or expand that knowledge, that’s why it is solid.
Only nature may adapt that knowledge without adding any new vocabulary or means.
(There is a very big difference between adaptation and change)
And when these creatures fear the higher ones, they admit its presence, which is a sort of recognition of that higher on a physical scale, therefore that higher should be termed as the stronger according to that scale.
So, these creatures used their SOLID KNOWLEDGE to recognize the higher by their only means of recognition.
Concerning the human being, which is still solitude on earth, he starts his knowledge from point zero, he does not know how to use his own body, he can not talk or walk unless he is taught. so, human knowledge is SPATIAL, A FREE DYNAMIC SPATIAL KNOWLEDGE that will always undergo a changing, expanding and upgrading process taking advantage of experience and trials leading to conclusion that may turn into facts. so the human is moving in his life in two parallel lines:
1. MIND: KNOWLEDGE.
2. HEART: SENSATION.
KNOWLEDGE is a linear momentum, it moves in dimensions. Clues, proofs experience and logic. It is motivated by SUSPICION (QUESTIONING) which will always and for ever be the first motive and the most primitive humanly need.
In the meanwhile SENSATION is all about feeling it does not require clues, proofs, evidences or logic. It is a point (note that knowledge has a linear aspect while sensation is a point).
When it comes to human recognition of the higher power (which might be termed as higher power, entity or being) it is essential to come in recognition of that being according to his two qualities and as it was mentioned before the sensation requires no evidence as it is not a linear momentum unlike the knowledge which requires a group of evidences and clues to generate a linear momentum that will lead to a fact declares the recognition of that higher entity.
But that solitude human being did not reach that type of evidences and clues so he reached the fact that according to his uniqueness, he is that greater being on earth.

When that human being started to reproduce resulting in groups which are made of many HIGHER INDIVIDUALS (human beings), a new term was created (SOCIETY). And new terms were created, these were (GOOD) and (EVIL) which were a result from true and false and the experiments (trials) of human (DYNAMIC KNOWLEDGE).
SO, GOOD AND EVIL WERE CREATED WITH THE SOCIETY NOT WITH THE INDIVIDUAL.
And after the birth of the idea of (THE SOCIETY). That higher being (human) was in need to defend his own highness against other higher(s), and instead of using his own qualities to high his inner highness he condensed the discrimination towards the other higher(s) recruiting all possible powers for such goal, manifested throughout history in wars and invasions, which resulted in gaping downward the difference between him and the other and that gave him a false sense of superiority.
And at that point the human being was in real need to admit and recognize the higher power, entity or being in order to improve his highness for the good of his specie, or else why would be such need for such improvement as long as he is the highest.
And then the need for deity (higher entity, power or being) was recognized.

In times of fear, oppression, war and invasion the human being was in need for a refugee from his fellow brother, the HUMAN other than hatred , so he searched for such in higher entity and higher being. A being with a great power, authority and un limited capabilities, but when he searched for such thing he used his own VOCABULARY OF HIS MIND which was the imagination and that gave him the Gods and the Goddesses in a very similar looking of the human being the same figure. And these gods and goddesses were in societies, which took the idea of the SOCIETY and the emerge of GOOD and EVIL from TRUE and FALSENESS. Which torn that idea down and made it precious only in historical literature and epic as in the Iliad and the Odyssey by Homer.
After that the human beings realized that to overcome that obstacle it is necessary to use other facilities such as history, environment, culture, costumes and the historical heritage. And that era resulted in the date idles for example in the Arabian peninsula, and the concrete ones of the Abraham's people and a lot more proving examples along the human history like those who assembles vipers, elephants, tigers and the sun.
But all these were illogical to the most important and arrogant quality of the human being (the high creature not the higher) and that was the mind.
So when Abraham destroyed his people's idles and place his axe in the biggest one of them, and they asked him: (you did that?!!) he answered: (It was not me, it was the biggest one of them.) pointing at the idles. And that date idle was eaten in a second By that he broke the recognition of these higher entities using the same quality that recognized them which was the knowledge (note that we are subsiding the other quality which is heart/sensation).

Previously, denying deity/theism approved to be a destructive manner of thinking, and multithiesm approved to be unreliable and illogical and according to such conclusions a call for the idea of monotheism appeared. And that what was all divine faiths were all about, a great entity, with unlimited power and authority and in an undescripable shape, look, beingness or description.

CONCLUSIONS:
1. THE TWO UNIQUE QUALITIES OF HUMAN BEING THAT DISTINGUISH HIM OVER OTHER CREATURES ARE MIND:KNOWLEDGE AND HEART:SENSATION.
2. THE HUMAN EXPIERENCE IS MOVING IN TWO PARALLEL LINES GENERATING FROM THE PREVIOUS QUALITIES, EACH HAS ITS UNIQUE SPATIAL CRITERIA.
3. THE PRESENCE OF THE HIGHER BEING OR ENTITY IS NOT ESSENTIAL FOR ITS OWN PRESENCE BUT FOR SELF-EMPROVEMENT MOTIVATION OF HUMAN BEING'S FACILITIES, AND TO BALANCE THE UNEQUAL DOMINANCE OF THE MATERIALISTIC ASPECT OF LIFE, WHICH IS DEEPLY IMPORTANT TO BALANCE HUMAN'S MENTAL HEALTH, AND IMPROVE THE RESIELENCE OF ITS BOUNDARIES BY INCREASING THE SPACE OF SPIRITUALITY IN A METAPHYSICAL WAY.

1.about the Ants issue: if u took the eggs in the ants colonies and you succeeded to isolate 50 one of them (for example), and you put the basic elements not the all elements of a regular natural life, they will build the same colonies by the same structural criteria as they are home, the only expected change is called adaptation to the available elements in the synthetic environment.
You can manipulate the vocabulary of ants solid knowledge, that manipulations will outcome no significance changes among that species behavior.

When I put sensation in consideration I did not eliminate the reason, but I said that they are moving in parallel axes which are inseparable, lets take a very very naïve example, lets say that you are sitting in a restraint and suddenly you feel that someone is watching u from distance and when u turn your face to check , u find it true, there is no proof scientifically or logically .
